India is a third world country that doesn't have near the resources that we do. In India women where there jewerly to signify how wealthy they are. Men will sit in a council house and smoke a hooka (which is a very large pipe)and sometimes not say a word for hours. Women must clean the council house. Another place where people go to visit or be entertained is a courtyard. People will perform tricks and showoff there. Many people in villages live in small huts, not much larger than the size of a small bedroom. They have one piece of furniture in there homes. That is a chair or two,and nobody is allowed to sit in those except high honored guests. Also a dentist and doctor come every 1-2 weeks.

City life in India is also very interesting. Cows are sacred there and if they are in a city street cars will be forced to go around them with any twists and turns necessary. A vital form of transportation is the rickshaw. A rickshaw is a two wheeled cart powered by the legs of a human being. A grocery store for us is a bazaar for them. People in the city go shopping for almost anything you could possibly think of. People bargain at these shops for better deals. A better description of a bazaar is a huge outside market with shops only 11-12 feet wide.
